Fill the Gaps With Bridges and Implants
Today, dental bridges are still considered one of the most durable, conservative, and cost-effective options for bridging the gap between a missing tooth and surrounding teeth. Comprised of two anchoring teeth and a replacement tooth, dental bridges help prevent surrounding teeth from drifting out of position, improve chewing and speaking, and help keep your natural face shape intact.
Professional Smile Restoration
At Maitland Dentistry, we have two different treatments to replace missing teeth:
- Traditional dental bridge
- Dental implants
Dental bridges can take 2-3 weeks to make, and with proper hygiene and regular dental care, can last many years. Dental implants are placed by either an oral surgeon or periodontist and do not affect the adjacent teeth. Once the implant is in place and the required amount of time has elapsed, create the crown that will be placed on top of the implant. Implants are an excellent option to replace missing teeth and can last a lifetime.
Why Patients Choose Dental Bridges?
Bridge the Gap for a Healthy Smile
Missing teeth can impact how you eat, speak, and smile. Dental bridges provide a strong, reliable solution to close those gaps, restore your bite, and prevent surrounding teeth from shifting.
Custom-Made for a Natural Look
Each dental bridge is carefully crafted to match the shape and color of your natural teeth, creating a seamless and comfortable fit. Whether replacing one tooth or several, bridges help restore both function and confidence.
How Dental Bridges Work
A dental bridge uses one or more artificial teeth (pontics) supported by adjacent teeth or dental implants. This stable restoration improves chewing and speech, while helping to maintain your natural facial structure.
